Shane Diamond is a human rights advocate, media and communications expert, and proud transgender man. As the Principal of Very Good Consulting, LLC, Shane leads honest conversations that challenge biases and expand our collective capacity for change by working with the power of empathy to build connection and break barriers.

Shane’s work with Speak About It, EqualityMaine, and the Transgender Legal Defense & Education Fund (TLDEF) resulted in his expertise in nonprofit communications and storytelling. His real-life experience as a trans man has led to a passion for practicing and teaching empathy-building to reduce bias, and supporting organizations in developing tangible action steps to create lasting change through inclusive policies and workplace culture - all fused with humor and vulnerability.
